Your background?

• I am a scholar of the Central University of Technology (Free State) in mechanical engineering and received my Higher Diploma in Mechanical Engineering at Pretoria Technicon in 1991. My career path started as a lab technician at the CSIR, working on research projects to develop wear resistant coatings and materials for industrial application. I was later promoted to Senior Design Engineer and started working on a programme that focused on product development, introducing the latest technology into industry. This launched my career in the design field.

The experience gained in both research, development and design, laid the foundation for the establishment of Technimark Prototyping Services, the R&D company that developed the FSD/TRIGA® Displays amongst other innovative designs in the plastics industry.

What are your interests ?

• My interests are hiking, 4×4.

What do you like to do in your free time?

• Going on hiking trails and safari trips.

Your background?

• Attorney Conveyancer and Notary – Practicing under name and style of Thora du Toit & Associates in Cape Town since 1999. Represent TRIGA® as Legal Adviser.

What are your interests?

• Hiking, Everything nature related.

Less known facts about yourself?

• Arachnophobia is my middle name. Makes sharing nature a bit challenging sometimes.

What do you like to do in your free time?

• If not exercising or finding myself outdoors, I read and research any topic that may be interesting at the time.

• Almost from the start, I have had the privilege of witnessing the growth of TRIGA® over the years and I am excited to see where we will go next.

Your background?

• I have a BComm in Financial Accounting from the University of Stellenbosch, and more than 10 years of experience working in Finance

What are your interests ?

•  I enjoy using my hands for various activities like baking and creating art.

What do you like to do in your free time?

• I enjoy spending time with my family and our dogs, whether it’s exploring nature or relaxing at home while having a braai.

How long have you been working for TRIGA®?

• I started in March 2022.

Your background?

• I started working at Sanlam doing market research in 1985 until 1996, then worked for a production company from 1998 to 2005 as an admin assistant and eventually financial manager. I then started working for Graffo (a company specialising in communications infrastructure) as financial manager from 2005 to 2022.

What are your interests ?

• Ancient history and archaeology. I also enjoy watching master craftsmen doing their thing. It does not always matter what they are doing. I admire anyone who is excellent what they are doing.

Less known facts about yourself?

• I live in a very small town in the Northern Cape. I moved here to escape the city’s hustle and bustle and am enjoying the peace and quiet immensely. My craft studio is my happy place.

What do you like to do in your free time?

• I have a few hobbies to satisfy my creative spirit such as full coverage cross stitch embroidery, quilting, drawing, mixed media art, making 12th scale miniatures, bookbinding and other related paper crafts.

• I started in June 2023.

• I have a background in Bcom business marketing.

What are your interests ?

• I enjoy hiking and park runs on the weekend.

• It looks like I am an introvert but I am actually an extrovert.

What do you like to do in your free time?

• Love to be out in nature and to take my jack russell for walks.

How long have you been working for TRIGA®?

• I was introduced to TRIGA® Max shortly after its invention in 2009 and have been a client for over a decade. I love the product offering and when Alphons approached me to join the team to support their marketing efforts about 4 years ago I did not hesitate to say yes. TRIGA® is an amazing brand and the pioneering spirit of the creatives involved in the product’s development is energising.

Your background?

•  I am a marketing professional passionate about conceptualising “out of the box” marketing strategies that support organisational objectives. I started freelancing in 2010 and am at ease when operating in a dynamic environment with all levels of individuals. My client base is diverse and I love the challenge of conceptualising solutions to drive their businesses forward.

• Wildlife photography, hiking, yoga.

• I volunteer to do anti-poaching night patrols in one of KZN’s game reserves to help protect rhino. This is to support the efforts and hard work of their full-time anti-poaching staff.

• A certified nature lover, I enjoy all outdoor activities, especially when I can get involved with some photography while I’m at it.
